Voxel Residence | New construction | Concept
Located along the new river in Fort Lauderdale, FL this two-story single family residence takes full advantage of the waterfront view. Elevated framed views overlook the water and existing banyan tree. The design is composed of intersecting cubes (ie. voxels), each expressed in their own materiality.
A large floor to ceiling brass pivot door is a signature piece of this design welcoming its inhabitants into luxury design.
Curved glass segments add moments of interest to the otherwise predictability of the voxel language while drawing attention to interesting views out of the residence and into the river.
